On June 22, 2014, Sandy LaPlante and Daniel Golas’ lives drastically changed when they were hit by a repeat drunk driver. They survived the crash but not without having serious injuries that have forever changed their lives and have been given a LIFE SENTENCE. Through their everyday hardships and obstacles, they continue every day to volunteer with MADD, help other victims and to educate others on the impact of drinking and driving.
