Dr. Robert Geronemus, a noted nephrologist in our community & around the world, was killed by a car on pedestrian  hit and run after speaking at a medical conference dinner in Miami days before his 61st birthday. His daughter Heather founded and chairs Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale, she also serves as MADD National Board of Directors Vice Chairwoman in his memory & works passionately towards the day where we can say we have eliminated drunk driving.
