Covid-19 Safety Protocols
We are asking everyone in attendance to please wear a Mask at Walk Like MADD Michigan when you are unable to social distance so be sure to bring one with you.
Your Safety is our Top Priority. Below are the steps that MADD-Michigan will take to ensure that our event, Walk Like MADD, is COVID-19-Safe. MADD-Michigan will monitor and follow any COVID restrictions that are in place through MDHHS, CDC, and any other governing body that oversees COVID protocols.
Below are the steps that MADD-Michigan will take to ensure that our event, Walk Like MADD, is COVID-19-Safe.
- Registration: At registration, there will be signs with COVID questions. We ask that everyone read the signs before entering. We ask that you wear a Mask at Registration
- Masks: Please wear masks in close quarters, inside tents, and anywhere we cannot maintain social distancing of 6 feet.
- Social Distancing: adhere to the guidelines of 6 feet; however, if you are unable to adhere to 6 feet social distancing guidelines, we ask that you wear a mask.
- Sanitizing Products: are available during the event.
- Walk Participants: are asked to bring their own beverages such as soda, and juice (no alcoholic beverages allowed). Participants can still bring food for personal consumption.
- Event Material: tables, chairs (set up and tear down), pens, pencils, markers and so forth, will be sanitized after each use.
