Crash Anniversary: August 19, 1995

"Ben Feliciano was a beloved son and brother, an innocent and responsible sober driver. But on Saturday, August 19, 1995, a drunk driver slammed his car into the back of Ben's car on the Gowanus Expressway in Brooklyn. The forceful impact flipped Ben's car over the car ahead of him and his car landed upside down on the Expressway. He was crushed inside his car. Tragically, Ben died the next day on Sunday, August 20, 1995. He was only 22. 

Our family lost an incredible person, and we miss him terribly. We have since been working with Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and invite you to join us by participating in the Staten Island Walk Like MADD on Saturday, October 1st at Clove Lakes Park. Thank you for supporting MADD's lifesaving mission, so that no other family has to go through what we have."
