Yarel Aaliyah Ruiz
Yarel was the most beautiful child any parent could ask for. She was intelligent, brave, and loved life. Yarel liked to spend time with her older sister Sophia. They both spent hours chasing butterflies and laughing at their own jokes. And endless bicycles rides at the park. Yarel wanted to be a doctor so she could help all the babies she could in this world. Gardening was Yarel's favorite hobby. Every spring, she was ready with her seeds and flowers ready to plant. In her honor, a memorial garden was built for her with the help of family members, teachers, friends, and the community of Tucson. Yarel’s message was always to "be kind to each other."
