We walk to create a future of No More Victims®

The 2023 Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Bakersfield 5K event is MADD's signature fundraising event to help us raise both awareness and funds to eliminate drunk and drugged driving. This year is Kern County's 10th annual Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash!

Our community sees at least 4,000 DUI arrests made each year. That's more than 11 DUI arrests per day! Sadly, many impaired drivers aren't stopped in time, and instead cause unimaginable harm to innocent lives in Kern County. We hope that you will rally with us at the Park at River Walk in Bakersfield, Calif. to help create a future of No More Victims.

In the 2023 Bakersfield Walk like MADD + Dash -- presented by Chain | Cohn | Clark -- you can help by signing up as a walker or 5K runner, by simply donating, or by helping gather donations or volunteers. All funds raised from this event stay in Kern County to help innocent victims of DUI crashes, help raise awareness of the DUI epidemic in our community, and helps fund MADD Kern County programs.
