New Orleans Virtual Walk Like MADD 2020
We are walking in memory of our sister, Dana. On September 20, 2019, Dana, her husband and three children were hit by a driver with a blood alcohol level over three times the legal limit. All received serious to critical injuries. Dana passed away on October 2, 2019 due to her injuries. We love and miss her and we don’t want another family to go through such tragedy.
We are participating in the New Orleans Virtual Walk Like MADD 2020 event to raise mission critical funds for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to fight the 100% preventable crimes of drunk and drugged driving. Did you know that 2 out of 3 people will be impacted by a drunk driving crash in their lifetime? Two out of three! Walk Like MADD provides an outlet for those impacted by drunk and drugged driving to channel their grief into hope and healing and provides communities the chance to surround and support those hurting by taking action to prevent others from suffering. How can YOU help? You can do your part by...
• Making a donation to help us reach our team fundraising goal• Walking alongside our team to take steps to stop these violent crimes• Spreading the word about Walk Like MADD by using the hashtag #WalkLikeMADD Who is MADD?
