How do I register?

Do I have to bike, walk, AND run?

Weekend warrior eh?  Unless you really want to impress, go for it but we don't advise it.  Everyone else should chose to bike, walk, OR run.

Do I have to register?

In order to join us on event day, get an event t-shirt, bike walk or run on our course, eat, and participate in our other activities, you must register. 
 
Why should I and how do I create a team?

There are advantages to creating a team: you'll have someone to talk to when you bike walk or run (!); there will be team contests leading up to event day; there will be team captain contests leading up to event day; teams of 10+ can check-in all at once.  To create a team, in step 1 of registration select your participant type.  Then, under "Role" select “Create a team”.  You will then be prompted to select your “Team Type” and enter the “Team Name”. 

How do I join a team?

In step 1 of registration, select your participant type.  Then, under "Role" select "Join a Team".  Click "Search" to see the available teams to join for this specific event. 

How do I register my family and do you offer a family discount?

If you are a family of 4+, please email wilma.comenat@madd.org for a discount code.  Families who want to register four or more members can receive a 20% discount on registration.

How do I get an event shirt?  

During step 2 of registration you will be asked if you would like to receive an event shirt.  The shirt is included in your registration fee.

What is a Virtual Participant?

If you can’t attend the event in person there are still ways for you to get involved, show support, and raise money for this important cause.  Just bike, walk, or run on your own and help us raise money.  There is no registration fee as you will be supporting us remotely.
 

Fundraising:  

How do I start fundraising?

The best fundraising efforts start by sharing your personal story about why you're participating in the event. You can share your story by logging in to your fundraising portal and editing your fundraising page. Once your page is personalized, share it with friends, family, and coworkers via email, social networking and word of mouth.

About mid-way down the home page click "donate" and type in the participant’s name.  Or, just click here

How do I make a donation to a Team? 

Click here to find the team.  Search the team name and then click Donate Now. 

How do I make a donation to the Walk?

Where is check-in and the start/finish area on event day?

What time do the various events start?

The bike events start at 8am.  The run and walk events start at 9am.

How long are the various courses?

There are two bike routes - 15 miles (mostly flat) and 30 miles (some hills).  You can chose which course to ride on event day.  There are also two walk and run courses - 5K and 10K mostly flat.
