MADD Loudoun GotSneakers Recycling Program
Did you know your wearable sneakers and your children’s outgrown sneakers can give the millions of people a new life to you old soles?. Your used sneakers will provide the adults the ability to go to work to support their families. For children the ability to go to walk school to learn to read and write. MADD Loudoun earns $1.00 for each pair of wearable sneakers and .10 cents for each unwearable pair. The unwearable sneakers get a new life too and recycled and and made into playground mats, gym mats artificial turfs and diverted from the landfills. The GotSneakers Program runs year round.

We thank the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office for their annual March GotSneakers Collecting at the Substations!
- Bring your sneakers to the Walk on May 22, 2021 at Ida Lee Park. Leesburg.
- Arrange to pick up a GotSneakers bag in Sterling to have a collection drive in your neighborhood or office.
- Students can earn 2 hours of community service for each bag they fill. Email MADD Loudoun at Maddloudoun@aol.com to get the details and instructions.
- If you order beer and wine from Buzz Butler, you can leave your sneakers at your delivery spot and Buzz Butler will pick the sneakers up from your house when they drop off your order. If you are not a customer you can join @ https://buzzbutler.biz
- There are many gyms and other locations that have drop off boxes that collect the sneakers for MADD Loudoun, if your gym does not have a box, let us know and we can set the gym up with a collection box and bags to participate.
