In the month of May, challenge yourself by riding and fundraising to end impaired driving in Florida.

How It Works

Any bike. All ages. Any location. All fitness levels.
Set your goal and ride to end impaired driving in Florida.

Register for $45 and set up your mileage goal to reach a Tour de Florida stage.

Invite your fellow cyclists, friends, and family to help you raise funds to end impaired driving.

In May, start logging your miles and track your progress. Win different prizes depending on the stage you complete.

STAGES OF THE TOUR DE FLORIDA

Start your Tour de Florida by symbolically riding your first 39 miles in recognition of the person that is killed by an impaired driver every 39 minutes. By completing these 39 ‘MADD’ miles – you will receive this event sport towel.

STAGE 1 - 100 MILES

Virtually cycle from the Florida Keys through the Magic City up to Palm Beach!

STAGE 2 - 250 MILES

Then symbolically cycle Alligator Alley and explore Southwest Florida.

STAGE 3 - 400 MILES

Visualize traveling up the gulf coast and exploring the Greater Tampa Bay area.

STAGE 4 - 600 MILES

Imagine cycling across the state as you experience all of the magic and attractions that Florida has to offer.

FINAL STAGE - 850 MILES

Finish by cruising through the oldest city in America, the state capital, and the Forgotten Coast.

In Loving Memory of Jake Boykin

"Don't skim your story"

We are riding in honor and memory of Jake Boykin. Jake was a ray of sunshine and brightened everyone’s day. He was happy, encouraging, a leader, and full of life. Jake wrote the words “Don’t skim your story” on his whiteboard in the Spring of 2021. And that is truly how Jake lived his life. He didn’t want to skim his story, he wanted to live full gas, he wanted to do interesting things, he wanted to have good adventures. And he did. And by all accounts, he brought a lot of people with him along the way.

We are so grateful for the wonderful moments and memories we all have of Jake. To know Jake was to love him. We ask that you take him with you. Take his examples of kindness, faith, fearlessness, honesty, love and joy with you. Let him encourage your sense of adventure and wonder. Jake would not want anyone to skim their story.

Earn a Tour De Florida Cycling Jersey!

Want a commemorative cycling jersey to show off your commitment to cycling and MADD? This year's jersey features some of our favorite things from the Sunshine State! The only way to get this year's cycling jersey is to raise $250 before the end of May.

Once you are registered, you will have your own personal fundraising page where you can direct friends and family to donate to MADD and help you reach your fundraising goal.
