How do I register for a walk?
Click here to find the Walk that's nearest to you. Select your local event then click “Register” to complete the five step registration process. If you walked with us in the in the previous year, you can login to your account to pre-fill the fields in step three with your information.
What is a Virtual Walker?
If you can’t attend the walk in person, there are still ways for you to get involved, show support, and raise money for this important cause.
Do I have to register in order to walk?
Yes, we want to know you’re walking with us and need every walker to sign a standard waiver through their official registration. Find your local Walk and register online. By signing up for this event and raising funds on behalf of MADD, you are making our families and community safer.
How do I create a team?
In step 1 of registration, select your participant type. Then, under "Role" select “Create a team”. You will then be prompted to select your “Team Type” and enter the “Team Name”.
How do I join a team?
In step 1 of registration, select your participant type. Then, under "Role" select "Join a Team". Click "Search" to see the available teams to join for this specific event.
How do I register my family?
After you have completed registration for yourself, you can register another individual by logging into your fundraising portal. Once logged in, you can select 'Register Another Participant.' You'll start the registration process and be asked what the individual's relationship is to you. You will then have the option to manage their account. Proceed to fill out their contact information and click on 'Continue to Next Step' and then complete their registration.
How do I activate my fundraising portal from last year’s walk?
If you walked with us in the previous year, you can login to your account in step 3 of registration.
How do I get a walk shirt?
During step 2 of registration, you will be asked if you would like to receive a WLM Shirt.
How do I make a donation to a Participant?
From the home page, click the magnifying glass and type in the participant’s name. Then, click Donate Now.
How do I make a donation to a Team?
Click here to find the Walk the team is participating in. Once you have clicked on the walk, click the Donate button. Search the team name and then click Donate Now.
How do I make a donation to the Walk?
Click here to find the walk you want to donate to. Then click the Donate button and select “Click here to support Event Walk Like MADD”.
How do I start fundraising?
The best fundraising efforts start by sharing your personal story about why you're participating in the Walk. You can share your story by logging in to your fundraising portal and editing your fundraising page. Once your page is personalized, share it with friends, family, and coworkers via email, social networking and word of mouth.
