Crash Anniversary: August 2, 2015
Candice was traveling back home after helping a friend with their restaurant. When a selfish drunk driver, a driver who was literally drinking and driving as by evidence of their own testimony, murdered Candice.
A very bright light was extinguished that Sunday night. Candice truly had a smile that could light up the sky and a laugh that could warm the room. Candice was a kind, loving and generous young woman. She never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Candice can no longer speak for herself, so we as her family and friends will pick up the pieces and be her voice by raising awareness to this 100% preventable crime. We walk to honor our cherished memories and our love for Candice because her light shines in our hearts.
