Crash Anniversary: August 13, 2015
As the days turn into weeks, the weeks into months, and the months into years, no amount of time will ease the emptiness that was left in our hearts and lives. Virginia David was killed by a DUI driver while working as a Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver on August 13, 2015. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, nali, aunt, and niece. She surrounded herself with her children and grandchildren, always teaching them the ways of life, willing to lend a helping hand, had the home-fire going and was always sharing food with all that came to her home. She was spiritual and very knowledgeable of traditions.
In loving memory, Virginia’s family started Walk Like MADD in Window Rock, AZ to bring awareness, educate, and work hard to one day put an end to drunk and impaired driving.
