"On 2/22/16 at 7:45 am I said goodbye to my happy family of 4 for the last time not knowing that at 3:19 an impaired driver who made a CHOICE to drive while after partying in NYC for the entire weekend before this Monday while still impaired. The worst thing to happen to any family. It defies the laws of nature for a parent to lose a child let alone a husband and father as well. The devastation is insurmountable, there is no handbook to be given to those grieving on how to handle the deaths, the identifications of bodies, the funerals and ultimately the legal system. Our lives have changed forever, there is no amount of therapy that can fix this we just have to live life one second at a time.
